Gorseinon Conyza

These two putative ids were of specimens found growing on the verge by the new ASDA in Gorseinon, both have 5-lobed corollas:

Homalia trichomanoides at Nant Melyn, Coedely

Homalia trichomanoides (Blunt Feather-moss) growing alongside stream (neutral), this one also had me baffled as it looks more like a liverwort to the novice!

Weevil in moth trap

Sitona lepidus in the garden (SS584994) moth trap this morning with just 1 Spruce Carpet, 1 Red-green Carpet, 3 Feathered Thorns & 1 Chestnut. Not sure if it flew in or had inadvertently entered the trap while it was stored in the shed. [Det. A.P. Fowles]

I suspect this is just squarrosum, main associates including Molinia, Sphagnum fimbriatum, palustre & fallax, but very prominent central bud in every capitulum examined and many branches with leaves not excessively squarrose. [Confirmed SDSB]
